Last night Brett found this toad hopping around our yard. It was huge! It was fun to watch Tuck chase it. He didn't try to eat or hurt it, I think he was more curious to what it was.
The lady behind us has a retention pond. When it fills up with water from the irrigation we get serenaded by a family of toads. It's pretty comical to see which one can sing and for how long! It kind of freaked us out when we first moved in. We caught one a couple of weeks ago that the kids named Hoppy. Too bad none of them were brave enough to actually touch it. They scooted it into a bucket with a shovel, very carefully. So we're not really frog lovers but the kids like to think they are!
We had a frog too. Laura opened the door after the rain and he propped himself up on the couch like he owned the place. i caught it and put it in the yard. There is no escaping now, he will live on cockroaches and swimming pool water.

I love frogs. Kids love them because they are so easy to catch and pretty harmless.

That is totally random! Hope you kids like it. I always wanted a frog growing up.
